Private Sessions

Group classes are fun and effective for most people, but in order to reap the full benefits of Pilates, particularly for specific conditions, injuries or goals one-to-one private lessons should be considered.

One-to-one and two-to-one private lessons take place in my new studio in Thriplow and can be arranged to suit most people’s time preferences.

There is no “typical’ Pilates client – my clientele has a wide range of abilities. Clients vary in age, both male and female, from the super-fit to those in constant pain who are unable to move as they would wish to.

However, experience shows me that to mix all these groups into a beginner’s class does not make sense, and with that in mind I will often recommend a private lesson for those completely new to Pilates or those returning after absence who are not sure what level they should be working at.

After the private lesson I will be able to suggest the way forward and give you an idea of a timeframe for merging into a group class.

Prices

1:1’s cost £50 per hour; 2:1 cost £55 per hour.

A book of 5 sessions cost £240 for 1:1 and £260 for 2:1.

You will need to download and complete an enrolment form and a coronavirus declaration form prior to your first session, or failing that please request a copy.

Cancellations

Please contact me as soon as possible, if you need to cancel a 1:1 booking.
Payment is due in full for cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance.

Reformer Sessions

The Pilates reformer is a machine that offers resistance and assistance, allowing you to take your body to the next level.

Rehab Sessions

Pilates is recommended by consultants, surgeons, physiotherapists and osteopaths as the preferred method of rehabilitating injuries as well as joint and muscular conditions

Pregnancy Sessions

Pregnancy related issues can only be addressed properly and professionally with private lessons. What your body needs at 10 weeks is very different to what the body needs at week 20, 30 or 40.
